October 4, 2022

Wind and rain continue to pound the Cape Region for the fourth straight day Oct. 4. In Dewey Beach, the Rehoboth Bay is creeping onto the streets, while the oceanside dune is being washed away by waves.

High tide along the Delaware Bay is about 4:30 p.m., which is likely to bring additional flooding to Lewes and other bayside towns.

Rain remains in the forecast until midday Wednesday, Oct. 5.
