RAL holds opening reception

The judge for the Members Fine Craft Exhibition was Elizabeth Deans, center. Deans is director and professor of design at George Washington University Decorative Arts and Design History Masters Program where she oversees the academic program and curriculum as well as teaches graduate courses in decorative art design and architectural history in the history in decorative arts. The Rehoboth Art League held an opening reception for three exhibits June 16.
In the Corkran and Tubbs galleries the 44th Annual Fine Craft Exhibition was held. This exhibition showcases a wide variety of fine crafts including baskets, ceramics, fiber, glass, handmade paper, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media and wood, created by members.
In the Ventures Gallery, painter Gordon Inyard exhibited his painting in a show titled “Diners and Roadside Attractions.”
In the Homestead, painter Joseph Terrone displayed his plein air paintings in a show titled “Mindfulness.”
