RAL sets trip to view Longwood Gardens Christmas lights Dec. 4

November 6, 2025

The Rehoboth Art League will host an evening trip Thursday, Dec. 4, for guests to experience the holiday lights display at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pa.

Tickets are $100 per person and must be purchased in advance. Coach bus check-in begins at 12:30 p.m. at the Fresh Market parking lot on Coastal Highway, Rehoboth. Departure will be at 1 p.m. sharp. The bus will begin its return trip from Longwood at 7 p.m., with arrival in Rehoboth expected by 9 p.m.

Longwood Gardens is a place of ever-changing seasonal beauty, handcrafted feats of horticultural wonder, and an awe-inspiring collection of the most beautiful plants from around the globe.

This trip coincides with A Longwood Christmas, which sees the gardens transformed into a living jewel box where nature and elegance intertwine, and every path leads to a new treasure to behold. Guests can wander among hundreds of thousands of twinkling lights and visit the historic main conservatory, where magnificently decorated trees, thousands of poinsettias and fragrant flowers transform Pierre S. du Pont’s fabled glass house into a holiday wonderland. The trip is scheduled to provide time before and after sunset to ensure nothing is missed.

Attendees will have about 3 ½ hours to explore the extensive gardens, conservatories, and special holiday decorations and lights. On-site options include The Café or the 1906 restaurant, which requires advance reservations.

Space is limited; early reservations are recommended.
