The Delaware Cannabis Advocacy Network and Delaware NORML hosted Delaware’s fifth annual participation in the Global Cannabis March May 5. The march takes place annually the first weekend in May. Starting in Surfside Park, at the north end of the Boardwalk in Rehoboth, the march finished at the Bandstand. Both groups are in favor of legalizing marijuana in Delaware, and representatives voiced their strong support of House Bill 110, which would do just that.

The Global Cannabis March dates back to the 1970s in New York, garnering international support since 1999. The first Delaware march was held in Newark in 2014, but it has been in Rehoboth every year since.
