Raymond F. “RJ” Waite Jr., 20, of Lincoln passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020 at Beebe Healthcare, Lewes.

RJ was born in Lewes, and resided most of his life in Georgetown and the surrounding area.  He graduated from Sussex Central High School in 2019 and at the age of 16 he began working. RJ had a love for the Lord and was an evangelist, spreading the word of God and impacting the community as a member of 3C USA Church in Delmar.  His love extended to his family, friends, his dog, Rosie, and co-workers whom he cared for deeply, and was always willing to help in any way at times of need.  He always loved a good scare with his mom and being goofy with his sisters.

RJ, as well, enjoyed being outdoors, especially watersports, bike riding, being at the beach and shooting guns.

He is preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Doris Ellingsworth Carey; a maternal great-grandfather, Addison E. Carey I, and his paternal grandfather, Edward “Sonny” Smack.
