Reading the Cape Gazette on the Seine while visiting Paris

October 26, 2018

Bill and Sue Brooks of Lewes recently traveled through the Loire Valley up the east coast into Normandy, Brittany and finally into Paris for the final leg of their incredible journey. Here they are pictured on the Seine, stopping to enjoy their Cape Gazette. According to Wikipedia, the Seine is a 777-kilometre-long (483 mi) river and an important commercial waterway within the Paris Basin in the north of France. It is navigable by ocean-going vessels as far as Rouen, 120 kilometers (75 mi) from the sea.
