The Delaware Watercolor Society announced David Lobenberg’s California Vibes Watercolor Portraiture Workshop will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday to Tuesday, June 9 to 11, at the Glade Clubhouse in Rehoboth Beach.

The three-day workshop is now open to nonmembers who possess basic watercolor skills.

Lobenberg has taught at the college level and now travels nationwide presenting his workshops to avid followers. He is nationally recognized for his unique style and approach to portraiture. He also acts as a juror for major art exhibitions.

Workshop participants will learn how to create vivacious, carefree portraits with wild, expressive color. Lobenberg stresses that prior portrait experience is not required to be successful in this workshop. To see samples of his art and his unique take on portraiture, go to www.lobenbergart.com.

The Glade Clubhouse is at 16 Glade Farm Road, Rehoboth Beach.

To register, go to www.delawarewatercolorsociety.org. Cost for nonmembers is $425. The maximum participation is limited to 20 students.
