Rehoboth’s lifeguards during the Coach Coveleski era

They’ve been keeping the beaches of Rehoboth safe for decades, and this summer is no different than summers past. This picture postcard from the 1970s shows one summer’s group of lifeguards when Frank Coveleski, teacher and coach, organized the ranks and kept them in good physical condition for the often-strenuous work of rescuing swimmers in distress.
