The weekend was perfect for attendees of the Rehoboth Art League’s 52nd Annual Outdoor Fine Art & Fine Craft Show, which kicked off Aug. 2 and 3, with another weekend set for Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 9 and 10, at the RAL campus in Henlopen Acres.
This juried event has always drawn a talented pool of artists. Attractions include live entertainment, food provided by The Point Coffee Shop & Bakery as well as various food trucks, and craft beer by Dogfish Head. Proceeds from the event support Rehoboth Art League’s exhibitions and education programs.
“This is our 52nd year doing this,” said Sara Ganter, Rehoboth Art League executive director. “We have more than 125 artists here from all over the country that are art league member artists that were juried into this show. This is, without a doubt, our signature summer event. My mom used to bring me to this when I was little ... and now it’s an honor to work it and help run it every summer. I know what it means to the community [because] I’ve been here as a guest.”
