Rehoboth Beach and public health more than one century ago

This postcard mailed in 1908 shows that Rehoboth Beach was touting itself as a resort that was not only fun but also good for visitors’ health. Who would ever have thought that more than a century later, city officials would be ordering visitors to stay off the Boardwalk and beach due to a public health crisis?
