Bridge players from up and down the Eastern Seaboard recently competed in the second annual Rehoboth Beach Regional.

Tournament co-chair Kim Holm said about 600 players from Nova Scotia to Florida participated in the weeklong District 4 regional hosted by the American Contract Bridge League. Primarily, the players were from Virginia, Washington, D.C., Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York and New Jersey, he said, adding the average age of members is 76.

At any one time, 360 people were playing on 90 tables.

“We’re in every nook and cranny,” said Holm.

Next year’s tournament has been scheduled for Monday, April 29 through Saturday, May 4. For more information on District 4 of the American Contract Bridge League, go to 4acbl.org or email contact@4acbl.org
