Rehoboth Beach installing new wayfinding signage
Rehoboth Beach visitors are going to find it easier to get around, because the city has begun installing its new wayfinding signage.
During a commissioner meeting July 17, City Manager Sharon Lynn said the first shipment of new signs had arrived earlier in the week, and sign installation began immediately. She said the installation contractor is still waiting for a few more pieces but will install them when they arrive.
The signs are orange and blue with white lettering, and a silhouette of the Bandstand has been incorporated into the design.
The signage project cost the city approximately $235,000. The city received a Community Transportation Funds grant for $20,000 to put toward the program.
