Rehoboth Beach Main Street’s Design Committee has announced the winners of the 2019 Cottage & Town Awards. The awards will be presented at a ceremony from 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday, May 5, at The Pines restaurant, 56 Baltimore Ave., Rehoboth Beach. The public is welcome to attend.
The awards recognize residential and commercial property owners who contribute to the, ”charm, beauty and history of downtown Rehoboth Beach through architectural and landscape architectural renovation, restoration and preservation.”
Greer Maneval, chair of the Cottage & Town Awards Committee, said, “History is a big part of our town. The preservation of its appearance is such a strong influence in how it is perceived by all. This is why the award was established. It was a tradition created by local citizens and is carried on by the Rehoboth Beach Main Street Design Committee.”
The 2019 award categories include Residential Renovation-Restoration-Preservation, Commercial Renovation-Restoration-Preservation, and Landscape Architectural Renovation-Restoration-Preservation. Winners receive an embossed bronze plaque, suitable for mounting on their home or business.
This year’s Cottage & Town Award winners are:

Commercial Renovation-Restoration-Preservation: The Pines Restaurant
