Rehoboth Beach Running Company making short move
The Rehoboth Beach Running Company is on the move – sort of.
“Big news! We’re moving to the front of the Shops at the Cultured Pearl! (the former Starbucks space). We will be in by the beginning of March!” reads a Jan. 9 post on the company’s Facebook page.
The new space is located on the ground floor of The Shops at The Pearl, at the intersection of Lake Avenue, Rehoboth Avenue and Fourth Street, and Starbucks had occupied it for nearly 20 years before the store closed in late September.
This is the second time owner Mary Beth Evans has moved her running shoes and apparel store. It was originally located on Rehoboth Avenue for seven years, next to the former Catchers restaurant, before moving into The Shops at The Pearl in 2014. A few years later, in 2018, the store expanded and took over an adjacent space in the building, giving it more storage and display area.
