Rehoboth Concert Band to perform Holiday Peace show Dec. 21
The Rehoboth Concert Band will present its annual Holiday Peace program at 3 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 21, in the Cape Henlopen High School theater, 1250 Kings Highway, Lewes. Doors open at 2:30 p.m.
A long-standing tradition at the beach, the performance celebrates the spirit of inclusion and multiculturalism reflected in the local community. Attendees may enter a raffle drawing for a chance to act as guest conductor, leading the band though one program selection.
Band Director Steve Kieley said, “Our performers have prepared a beautiful program filled with seasonal favorites and inspiring pieces that celebrate hope, unity and the joy of the season. I look forward to sharing this special evening with you – may it bring peace to your heart and warmth to your winter.”
Adding their voices to the program for a second year will be the Alliance Singers of CAMP Rehoboth Chorus, a select, auditioned group of 18 singers within the chorus.
