Rehoboth-Dewey Chamber welcomes MX Physical Therapy

The Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for MX Physical Therapy May 3, with members of the meet & greet committee on hand to welcome the business to the chamber.

MX, originally trading as Delaware Curative Physical Therapy, opened its doors in the Safeway Shopping Center on Route 1 in Rehoboth Beach in May 2006.  Dr. Phil Allen opened the facility, along with Shawnna Ferguson, supervising the growth made possible because of the joint effort of all staff.

The facility provides physical therapy, hand therapy and aquatic therapy. Roberta Wasilko, a board-certified hand therapist, heads the hand therapy team along with Terri Lingo, COTA/L. The aquatic/pool therapy programs are supervised by Pam Pierce, PTA.

MX Physical Therapy accepts most insurance providers. It provides transportation for clients who are unable to drive. MX Physical Therapy provides services for most orthopedic and neurological diagnoses. In addition, it has special programs for fibromyalgia, vertigo and fall prevention for the elderly.
