Rehoboth High School grads rollin’ on the river with the Cape Gazette
Back in May, Rehoboth High School grads Susan Marsh Lehman and Mary Tylecki Dickson sailed on the American Countess, an authentic-designed stern paddle-wheel riverboat with cruises on the Mississippi River.
Susan and Mary were accompanied by Charlie Dickson and Ed Marcelle as they sailed southbound from Memphis to New Orleans.
Once very good students of Mr. Butterly’s American History classes, the gals acquired a better understanding of the Battle of Vicksburg by visiting the battlefield while on their cruise.
Boarding the American Countess are (l-r) Charlie Dickson, Mary Tylecki Dickson, Susan Marsh Lehman & Ed Marcelle.
