VIA of Rehoboth receives $2,000 Walmart grant

Representatives of the Village Improvement Association of Rehoboth Beach accepted a $2,000 check from Rehoboth Walmart April 27 as part of Walmart’s Registry for Good, which supports local nonprofit agencies.
VIA President Ann Sebastian said funds will go toward Katybug, the pediatric program of Delaware Hospice, and toward a Christmas gift-giving party for displaced Cape High students and Renaissance nursing home elderly residents who do not have family.
The VIA of Rehoboth Beach is a women’s civic and charitable organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.
