Rehoboth summer recreation activities start June 10
During the summer months, the City of Rehoboth Beach offers recreational programming that includes creativity, activity, camaraderie and fun for children and people of all ages. Programs are free and open to residents and visitors.
Weekly programming includes arts and craft activities for children ages 2-12 at 9 a.m., Mondays and Wednesdays, June 10 through Aug. 21, at Grove Park.
From 6 to 7 p.m., Tuesdays, June 11 through Aug. 20, folks of all ages can walk or jog for the health of it with the Grove Walking & Jogging Club.
Special programming for all ages will be offered at 9 a.m., Thursdays, in Grove Park. Envirotech will offer hands-on environmental education activities June 22 and Aug. 3. Kite-making sponsored by Rehoboth Toy & Kite Company will take place June 20 and Aug. 8. Magician Jack Noel will perform July 4, July 18 and Aug. 1. Storytime yoga with local author Hiba Stancofski is scheduled for July 11 and Aug. 22.
At 9 a.m. on select Fridays, artist Stephanie Shuttleworth will offer face painting: June 14, July 5 and Aug. 2, at Grove Park.
