Resource Center Divine tasting successful

October 30, 2017

The Community Resource Center wishes to thank everyone who helped make CRC’s Divine Tasting Sept. 23 a success. Over 100 items were generously donated to the CRC’s auction by many local artists, businesses, individuals and restaurants.

A special thanks to to the volunteers who served the wonderful wine and beer provided by R&L Liquors of Lewes, which accompanied an incredible tasting menu provided by Palate Bistro & Catering of Rehoboth Beach. And of course, our gratitude goes to St. Jude the Apostle Church for allowing CRC to host its event at the Parish Hall.

The purpose of the CRC is to assess the needs of individuals and families; identify and coordinate the use of community resources providing support to local community members; and coordinate on-site delivery of services, food, baby items and financial assistance based on need. With dignity and respect, CRC helps individuals and families get to the next step of their journey toward self-sufficiency.

The proceeds from the Divine Tasting will help CRC continue to serve those of our neighbors who need a helping hand, and we are grateful for the community’s support.
