Georgetown Chamber of Commerce members, Town of Georgetown administrative staff, and friends and family gathered Oct. 15 to cut the ribbon on Maudilia and Nehemias Mendez’s new restaurant, Maudy’s Hispanic Cuisine.
Serving traditional Hispanic fare along with familiar breakfast items like French toast and pancakes, the restaurant also will offer daily specials.
Maudy’s joins a growing downtown business district, and the owners are excited to welcome the public.
Located at 21 East Market St. in downtown Georgetown, Maudy’s is open from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
