Richmill Power Washing launches in Lewes
Alex and Luke Drager launched Richmill Power Washing to serve Lewes and the surrounding areas.
The company primarily offers window cleaning, with additional services including gutter cleaning, house cleaning, surface cleaning and seasonal Christmas light installation. The business takes pride in delivering high-quality exterior cleaning services with a personal touch. Richmill Power Washing also offers service plans that provide discounts for recurring clients, giving homeowners the ability to maintain their properties consistently throughout the year.
“We mainly provide window cleaning,” said co-owner and founder Alex Drager. “We offer a service plan, so we give a little bit of a discount for biannual and quarterly plans, which is a little bit different than maybe what some people are used to. They are used to just calling someone and never seeing them again, but we like to keep the home clean, so that’s kind of our idea behind it.”
The business is owned by brothers Alex and Luke Drager. Alex moved to Lewes after graduating with high honors from Penn State University with a degree in civil engineering. During the summer between his junior and senior years, he and his brother took an unconventional path by offering window-cleaning services in their hometown. Through hands-on experience and hard work, the brothers quickly discovered and appreciated what it takes to grow a business. Once he graduated, Alex decided to pursue his passion for entrepreneurship and opened his own window-cleaning and power-washing business. After moving to Lewes, Alex, with the help of his younger brother, opened Richmill Power Washing.
“What inspired me was probably the idea that my brother and I could start something on our own,” said Alex. “If I didn’t have my younger brother with me doing it, I would be scared to do it. So, yeah, I guess in some sense, my younger brother inspired me.”
The Drager brothers have embraced the local community, enjoying the area’s small-town charm and local business scene. Building relationships with homeowners and local business owners has been central to Richmill Power Washing’s growth and foundation.
“Community is huge,” said Alex. “We love it in Lewes.”
Looking into the future, Richmill Power Washing plans to grow their team, create a positive work environment, provide beneficial employment opportunities and continue providing high-quality exterior cleaning services throughout Lewes and the surrounding areas.
