Robert Charles Howey, loved the beach

Robert “Bobby” Charles Howey, 63, of Frankford, formerly of Laurel, Md., passed away Monday, Dec. 20, 2021, at his home.

He was born July 22, 1958, in Riverdale, Md., son of Charles Truitt Howey and Gladys Virginia (Sines) Howey.  Bobby worked for the Maryland State Highway Department prior to his retirement. He faithfully rode his bike prior to his health decline and loved going to the beach.

Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Howey, and his father, Charles Truitt Howey.  He is survived by his daughter, Sadie Howey of Portage, Pa.; two grandchildren, Teriah Kay and Layne; his mother, Gladys Howey; a brother, John Howey; and three sisters, Peggy Carley, Debra Keats, and Kimberly Cox.

A celebration of Bobby’s life will be held at a later date.
