Ronald Sterling Young, retired CPA

Ronald Sterling Young, 78, a kind and gentle soul, passed into eternity Saturday, May 9, 2020.  A resident of Lewes, he was born July 4, 1941, in Cleveland, Ohio, son of the late Harold L. and Nora M. (Caon) Young. 

Ron was educated at local schools in Cleveland and was a graduate of Ohio State University, with a bachelor's degree in accounting.  He subsequently acquired a master's degree in financial planning.  Ron's long career as a certified public accountant spanned time spent in industry, public accounting, and with the federal government.  Ron was a loving and devoted spouse and friend.  He was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

Ron leaves to cherish his memory his longtime companion and spouse, Joseph P. Gonzalez of Lewes; his many relations by marriage; and his dear friends. 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ron will be privately interred at Epworth Methodist Cemetery, Rehoboth Beach.  Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
