Rose Mary Feddiman, devoted to church

Rose Mary West Farlow Feddiman, 80, of Frankford, died Wednesday June 8, 2016. 

 Rose was born Oct 31, 1935 in Pottsville, (Sussex Couny. She was the daughter of the late Mildred West Shelton and was raised by the late Katie Farlow and Homer Farlow. She attended school at Ross Point School and Jason High School. She was a member of Ross Point St. John A.M.E. Zion Church and later joined St. John’s 2^nd Baptist Church, Mount Joy, near Millsboro. Her favorite quote was “don’t worry about me, I’m in God’s hands.” In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Robert D. Feddiman Sr.; daughters, Dorthea M. Feddiman, her namesake, Rose M. Feddiman who passed in infancy, brother Wilmer Woolford, daughters-in -aw, Denise Feddiman and Candace Handy.

She is survived by her children, Barbara J. Feddiman, Doris A. Feddiman, Robert D. Feddiman Jr., Walter T. Feddiman, Homer E. Feddiman, Theodore M. Feddiman, Danny R. Feddiman, John H. Feddiman, Michael N. Feddiman, Charles F. Feddiman (Joyce), Mildred E. Feddiman, Gary W. Feddiman (Melissa) Emma J. Feddiman, Brian Feddiman, along with her siblings Jean Jackson (Arnold), and Gary Shelton. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren 45 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren as well as a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

 A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday June 21, at St. John’s 2^nd Baptist Church, 26602 Mt Joy Road, Millsboro where friends may call two hours prior. Burial will immediately follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
