Route 1-Cave Neck Road crossover modifications in place

In an effort to improve the Cave Neck Road-Route 1 intersection and median crossover, changes have been made in the traffic flow. Motorists traveling on Cave Neck Road can no longer use the median crossover, pictured, to go north on Route 1. Instead, motorists need to turn onto southbound Route 1 and make a U-turn at another median crossover. Motorists can still make left turns off northbound Route 1 to travel west on Cave Neck Road.
