Delmarva Christian High field hockey moved to 1-2 Sept. 11 as they fell to visiting Sts. Peter & Paul 3-1.
The Sabres outshot the Royals 17-4. Royals goalkeeper Mara Agapito made 14 saves while the Sabres keeper made three.
The Sabres struck first with a goal at 4:51 by Joy Perry.
Nancy McGettigan scored at 27:32, followed by a penalty stroke by teammate Caroline Talucci at the 21-minute mark.
Delmarva Christian finally hit the back of the net at 7:52 on a shot by Jorja Eppehimer.
So far this season, the Royals have scored 20 goals while allowing four.
They will host the Gunston School Friday, Sept. 13.
