Run to Plunge 5K raises $44K for Special Olympics

Race winner Ken Draper logs a time of 17:22.
Johnny Guignet ran to a time of 18:46 to place second.
Bryan Mack’s time of 18:59 was good for third overall.
Anthony Apostolico crosses the finish in 20:40.
Melissa Wiley logs a time of 21:00 to win the women’s race and take 10th overall.
The 14th annual Run to the Plunge 5K attracted 574 runners and walkers who raised a combined $44,000 for Special Olympics Delaware.
The race was won by Kenneth Draper, 19, of Hughesville, Pa., in a time of 17:22. The top female finisher was Melissa Wiley, 38, of Ocean City, Md., in a time of 21:00, good for 10th overall.
