Guests poured into Salon Milton Feb. 9 for the salon’s annual Fund Razor event. With baked goods, Dogfish Head Craft Brewery beverages, auction items and culinary creations from Pat Grieninger, Sarah Petrillo, Tony Petrillo and Ken Brittingham, the event drew an enthusiastic following.

Haircuts were provided by owner John Potocki, April Bini and special guest stylist Roi Barnard. A silent auction with items by Po’ Boys, Bad Hair Day and Irish Eyes, among others, and a 50/50 raffle all added to the donations. Proceeds will benefit the Gladys Wilkins Agricultural Fund, with a portion benefiting Milton Historical Society.

Potocki has carved out a loyal fan base and a crowd eager to support the Milton community. Last year’s event raised more than $12,000, and over the years, the Fund Razor has raised more than $43,000 for community organizations.

With warm community support, the Fund Razor feels like a family gathering, though the significant annual donations prove that it’s more than that, bringing the community together for great haircuts and great causes.
