Carter Thurman’s summer job keeps him busy with grounds maintenance at Sandhill Fields in Georgetown.
Sommer Dorman is working events and helping with facilities maintenance at Sandhill Fields as part of her summer internship before heading back to Lock Haven University.
Sandhill Fields sports complex in Georgetown recently welcomed its summer intern and temporary employees. Twin brothers Diego and Fernando Guajardo, and Carter Thurman, all rising juniors at Delmarva Christian High School, have been great assets working with the ground maintenance crew.
Intern Sommer Dorman, a 2022 Cape Henlopen High School graduate, is a rising senior D1 field hockey player and sports management major at Lock Haven University. She has been assisting the Sandhill team with maintaining facilities and working events.
