Sandhill Fields welcomes new general manager

The Sussex Sports Center Foundation Inc. recently announced Shannon Anfuso as the new general manager for Sandhill Fields.

Anfuso will oversee all sporting and community event rentals while managing the property.

A 90-acre sports complex located at 20330 Sand Hill Road, Georgetown, Sandhill Fields features eight regulation Bermuda grass soccer fields that are fully convertible to accommodate eight regulation lacrosse fields, along with six regulation pickleball courts and a 3.5-mile walking trail that includes a 3.1-mile regulation cross country course. Additional amenities include a tot lot, picnic pavilions and restrooms. The complex is available for tournaments, club practices and community use.
