She began her tenure with this outstanding nonprofit organization as a grant writer.
Part of her role is to build relationships with other stakeholders in the world of caring about kids. In concert with Pathways to Success team members and volunteers, Gilmour manages special events and activities for students attending Cape Henlopen, Milford, Polyech, Seaford and Sussex Tech high schools.
As she is often heard to say, “It’s all about the kids!”

She serves on the board of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce. Her broad network has contributed to the wide spread of information about FFW achievements and impact, not only in Sussex County but throughout the entire state. Her activities are all directly tied to empowering women and girls in Delaware.
Gilmour, a Lewes resident, serves as a powerful role model by showing her resilience and ability to persevere even in the face of personal hardship.
