Sea Witch activities at Rehoboth Beach Museum Oct. 25-26

There will be plenty of activities at the Rehoboth Beach Museum, 511 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach, during Sea Witch weekend.

Guests can view a display of souvenirs from years of Sea Witch Festivals all weekend long. The museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, Oct. 25, and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 26 and 27. 

Jolly Trolley Magical History Tours will begin at 9 and 11 a.m. Friday. Participants will tour historic sites of downtown Rehoboth Beach on the Jolly Trolley with a guide. Tour participants gather at the Anna Hazzard Tent House at 17 Christian St.  Cost is $10 per person, cash only payable upon boarding the trolley. Reservations are required. To reserve space, call 302-227-7310. Tours take place rain or shine.

At 5 p.m., Friday, there will be an indoor scavenger hunt for children ages 12 and younger. Children will search for selected Halloween decorations around the museum. There is no fee for admission and the hunt will take place rain or shine.

Saturday, after a busy day chasing Sea Witch clues, visitors may come to the museum at 7 p.m. to relax and watch an old-time movie. The museum will show the classic monster film, "Creature from the Black Lagoon." The screening will last 90 minutes. Light refreshments will be available. After the show, there will be a discussion of favorite scary pictures. Attendees may wish to bring a cushion to make themselves more comfortable. There is no fee for admission. A donation of $10 will help defray the cost of the popcorn. To ensure admission, call the museum at 302-227-7310 as space may be limited. Parking is available around the museum and the building is handicapped accessible.
