Service bays to be added at Midway Tire & Auto
A significant renovation project to Midway Tire & Auto is underway.
Preston Automotive Group purchased the six-decade-old business on Route 1 outside Lewes in late 2022. The company also owns Boulevard Ford Lincoln of Lewes immediately to the east.
At the time of the purchase, the company said plans included adding 20 service bays to the existing five, and improving and modernizing the customer waiting area.
When the expansion is completed, Midway Tire & Auto, 18421 Coastal Hwy., will be open seven days a week. Saturday hours will immediately expand to 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to accommodate customers’ schedules. Weekday hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
