Singing Soldiers to perform Sept. 27 in Rehoboth Beach

The Singing Soldiers will return to Rehoboth Beach for their annual concert at 6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 27, at All Saints' Episcopal Church, 18 Olive Ave. in downtown Rehoboth Beach. Admission is free.

The group comprises active-duty and retired members of the U.S. Army Chorus. The program will feature pop standards as well as patriotic music.

"This will be the 20th year that the soldiers have performed for us here at All Saints," said Jon Rania, All Saints’ director of music and communications. "We are so grateful for these professional vocalists and for the support of all those who come every year to hear them sing.”

This performance is made possible through the generosity and benevolence of the Lingo Family Music Fund, was established in honor of John and Peggy Lingo by their children. 

Some of the soldiers will sing at the 10 a.m. services Sunday, Sept. 28, at both All Saints' and at its sister church St. George's Chapel located at 20271 Beaver Dam Road, Harbeson.
