A total of 42 runners completed the PFC Joseph “Dimps” Marquez 5K Aug. 11, on the Junction & Breakwater Trail in the shadow of Schellville.
Matt Sparacino, aka the Harrington Harrier, 46, was the overall winner in 18:41. John-Paul Headd, 15, of Syracuse, N.Y., was second in 20:21.
Scott Armstrong, 61, of Pottstown, Pa., was third overall and first in masters in 20:21. Sean O’Grady, 43, was fourth overall in 21:06.
Amy Hoffnagle won the women’s race in 22:09.
There were 12 runners from Montchanin, Del., led by Ty Wilkerson in 21:53, Justin Gambacorta in 22:42 and Zuly Martinez in 23:01.
