Mr. Bill Henry Smith of Milton and Ms. Donna Y. Smith of Lewes are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Smith of Milton, to Scott Shockley of Millsboro, son of Mr. Dallas Shockley Jr. of Millsboro and Ms. Nancy Davis of Millsboro.
The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Cape Henlopen High School. She is employed as a manager of Smith Landing Campground/Smith Brothers Farm in Milton. The groom-elect is a 1998 graduate of Sussex Tech High School. He is employed as a contractor for Charles Burton Construction. A May 12, 2012 wedding is planned.
