I wholeheartedly support the candidacy of Claire Snyder-Hall for state representative for the 14th District of Delaware.
Claire is a lifelong advocate of factual education for students of all ages. As a leader, most recently as the executive director of Common Cause Delaware, Claire knows how to listen and build relationships. She is able to start from at least the 30-yard line, as she both knows many Dover colleagues already, plus the issues currently on the table. Unlike so many voices these days, Claire builds coalitions to create solutions.
Both passionate and compassionate, Claire has already been seeking input from several thousand residents all over the 14th District. In addition to voting access and security from her days at Common Cause, she is focused on solutions to affordable – and available – housing and healthcare in eastern Sussex for residents and workers of all ages. And formulating ways to minimize the destruction of our open spaces and natural resources, to the benefit of us humans and our animal and vegetable friends and neighbors.
As a former volunteer firefighter myself, I know that the other candidate in this race has some of these traits. However, if you want your representative to represent you, please join me in voting for Claire Snyder-Hall for the state representative for the 14th District.
