Songwriter series concert to benefit Paul Kares May 15

Local singer/songwriter Sol Knopf will be joined onstage by Don Henry and Craig Bickhardt at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, at the Room at Cedar Grove near Lewes.

Tickets for the songwriter series concert are $45 and include dinner. Beverages are available for a separate fee.

Knopf is a familiar face in Delaware venues. He was inducted into the Delaware Rock & Roll Society Hall of Fame in 2022.

Henry is a Grammy Award-winning songwriter whose tunes have been recorded by Ray Charles, Patti Page, Conway Twitty and Blake Shelton.

Bickhardt has appeared on the Grand Ole Opry stage, Austin City Limits and Mountain Stage. His songs have been recorded by Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Ray Charles, B.B. King, Alison Krauss and Vince Gill.

All concerts at The Room at Cedar Grove benefit Paul Kares, a nonprofit that supports aspiring musicians  and culinary artists.
