Space open for more students in Lewes After School Program

October 22, 2020

The Lewes After School Program has space for students.

With full internet access, the program operates from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday during the school year at Lewes Presbyterian Church.

The program has been partnering with Shields Elementary School but is also able to offer services to other young children.

Since 2004, the church has provided this high-quality program to help elementary school students achieve success in school and in life. Staff and volunteer mentors focus on homework assistance, and a variety of academic enrichment activities to enhance reading and math abilities.

The Lewes After School Program promotes and models respect, positive self-esteem, and character development, all within a safe, nurturing environment that carefully follows today’s pandemic public health guidelines.

Financial assistance is available through Delaware’s purchase of care program.

For more information, contact Lewes After School Program Director Teresa Lockerman at 302-228-3586.
