Speak Out Against Hate dance party nets $3,500 for youth programs

November 30, 2025

Community members put on their dancing shoes Nov. 14, filling the Listening Booth with energy as they danced, mingled and bid on raffle item, all in support of Speak Out Against Hate’s youth scholarship program and student ambassador internship program. These initiatives help empower local high school students as they work alongside SOAH mentors and grow as future leaders.

Local DJ Das Wuff kept the room moving with a mix of music that drew a lively, multigenerational crowd to the dance floor. SOAH’s new interns took turns as emcees throughout the evening, adding their own spark to the event.

Supporters bought 50/50 tickets and placed bids on 45 raffle baskets and gift cards donated by local businesses and community members. The event netted more than $3,500 to invest directly in programs for local youth.
