St. Edmond Church in Rehoboth Beach held a Blessing of the Pets ceremony Oct. 5, in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. Parishioners brought their furry friends of all sizes to the church lawn for a special blessing from Father Joe Piekarski, pastor.
