The 300th anniversary of St. George’s has been celebrated one Sunday each month of 2019 with a dedicated special service. This Sunday, April 28, they will recognize the birthday of its patron saint, St. George.
A birthday cake will be served at the coffee hour following the service and parishioners will be invited to sing “the song of St. George’s Chapel,” a lilting tune to accompany an old poem found in a chapel book.
Look for a surprise appearance of a "dragon" at the service and a special presentation of a historical figure by Stuart Burgh. Everyone is welcome to attend and receive Holy Communion.
