St. John the Apostle youth support Home of the Brave

Vacation Bible School students from St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Milford continue to provide support for veterans residing at Home of the Brave.
Having raised more than $200 last fall, the group donated curtain rods and curtains for all the windows in the home’s newly renovated dining and kitchen areas.
Recently, children from the Harris and Hammond families presented patriotic flags, a yard flag and patriotic mats to be placed outside and inside the veterans homes. Shirlene Webster, Home of the Brave director, accepted the items on behalf of the veterans.
