The Second Annual Sussex Academy of Arts and Sciences Gala was held March 8 at The Starboard in Dewey Beach. The event featured event featured food stations, open bar, raffles and local band Comfort Zone.
The event is a fundraiser for the Sussex Academy Foundation which is raising funds to pay Delmarva Christian School after Sussex Academy swapped facilities with them. Sussex Academy agreed to pay Delmarva Christian $10 million and still owes $3.4 million.
