Sussex Academy soccer scores late to down Mariner 1-0

The Sussex Academy Middle and Mariner Middle soccer teams battled scoreless for 58 of the 60 minutes of the game. It looked like overtime was a sure thing, but a foul was called in the box, giving the Seahawks a penalty kick.
Eighth-grader Liam Stegall put the ball past Mariner goalie Jason Baker for the 1-0 Seahawks victory.
Sussex Academy remains undefeated at 7-0, while the Vikings are 2-2-1.
