Sussex firefighters hold annual memorial service

At the February meeting of the Sussex County Volunteer Firefighters Association, Chaplain Charles Arnold led the annual memorial service. After the reading of a scripture lesson, the fallen firefighter ceremony took place and included the Table of One lesson. The bell was tolled for each fallen member who was recorded through Nov. 30, 2014.

These members included Chuck Quillen, Millville; Fred O. Mathewson, Millville; Jack Roach, Georgetown; Jay Stephenson, Indian River; Tiffany Hawkins, Indian River; Clement Hudson, Roxana; Howard Atkins, Lewes; Allen Givens, Selbyville; Russell Mumford, Delmar; William Spencer, Milton; Leslie V. Baker, Delmar; Elmer S. Ennis, Ellendale; Don Addor, Indian River; Marvin McCabe, Frankford; and Darryl Wharton, Roxana.
