Sussex P&Z approves several site plans

Milton Crossing, Stonewater Creek, Osprey Point among accepted projects

At its Oct. 13 meeting, the Sussex County Planning and Zoning Commission approved the following site plans:

A revised final site plan for Stonewater Creek, Phase 7, which is a 96-lot, single-family home expansion of the existing subdivision on Indian Mission Road (Route 5) near Long Neck.

A final plan for Estates at Milton Crossing, an 87-lot, single-family home subdivision on the south side of Route 1 with access to Reynolds Road near Milton. The final plan includes a 30-foot landscaped buffer and 8-foot berm to meet all Delaware Department of Transportation requirements for a sound barrier along Route 1.

A revised amenities plan for Osprey Point, a 217-lot subdivision along Old Landing Road near Rehoboth Beach. Amenities include a 3,445-square-foot clubhouse with a restaurant, 2,000-square-foot pool, small tiki bar, multipurpose sports courts, dog park, storage building, play area, 30 parking spaces and a sidewalk with provisions for future expansion.

A final site plan for a 6,651-square-foot addition to the existing DelDOT administration building along Route 113 just south of Georgetown. The plan includes 48 additional parking spaces and crosswalks.

A final site plan for a one-story, 544-square-foot structure to be converted to retail and office space at 30045 Eagle Crest Road near Milton.

A final site plan for Hopkins Henlopen Homestead, a small-events venue and honey-extracting building at 30066 Fisher Road near Lewes.

A revised preliminary site plan for a 3,743-square-foot corporate office building for SoDel Concepts at the intersection of Route 1 and Anne Avenue near Dewey Beach. The approval contains an amended parking plan for 15 spaces.
