Sussex Tech hires work-based learning students for summer jobs

Sussex Technical High School is employing eight students for the summer to assist with preparing the building and facilities for the upcoming school year. Under the guidance of trained instructors, students in the work-based learning program are gaining hands-on experience in the HVAC, IT, electrical and custodial trades.
To be hired, students submitted letters of interest and went through an interview process.
As they train alongside experienced industry professionals, work-based learning students receive authentic employment experiences while learning industry-recognized skills, and developing new and supplementary proficiencies.
