Dozens of local businesses attended the annual Career Fair held Feb. 5 at Sussex Technical High School during National Career and Technical Education Month.
Representatives of each business had the opportunity to talk to the school’s 1,300 students about the job market, education needed to be competitive, and career paths available in their chosen career-technical area.
CTE Month provides career-technical programs across the country an opportunity to demonstrate how CTE educates students to be college- and career-ready and prepares them for high-wage, high-demand career fields. This year’s theme is Celebrate CTE Superheroes!
